Writing can be a lonely profession.
I mean just think about it.
I spend hours on end, hunkered on my butt-cheeks with the office door closed breathing nothing but the smell of my own man-funk. Leaning so close over the keyboard that my coffee-stained breath fogs up the computer monitor. Living on cold coffee and peanut butter sandwiches and the occasional visit from my cat Kismet.
No wonder I absolutely LOVE to get out to book signings and school visits and public speaking opportunities.
