Thought For The Day – March 7, 2014

“At the end of the day all we really want is someone who is going to do the bloody dishes.” – E.L. James of Fifty Shades of Gray fame speaking on what women REALLY crave from a man.

Listen guys – housework is foreplay.

Get up off of your butts once in a while and help out – and you can forget ALL about whether or not you’re going to get lucky or not.

Luck doesn’t have ANYTHING to do about it.

Sweep the floor.

Clean the dishes.

There’s no such thing as man’s work.

There’s no such thing as woman’s work.

Newsflash – IT’S ALL FREAKING WORK!!!

And somebody’s got to do it.

Let it be you now and then – and life – and your wife – will be much kinder.

As for me – well, it is the weekend and both my wife and I have the day off – so right now I’m going to put on some Barry White music and do the dishes.

You see a sock hanging on the door, don’t bother knocking.

yours in storytelling,

Steve Vernon
